Talence

Talence, city of the Aquitaine region, ranks as the fourth largest city in the Department of Gironde. In this city we find many large schools and also the Faculty of Sciences of Bordeaux. Its economy is largely tended towards the tertiary sector which represents 90% of the labour force. Its architectural heritage is remarkable, especially with the castles of Brama, of Thouars, of Peixotto and of Raba. The Thouars forest, with an area of 60 hectares, preserves a varied flora and fauna.
